Elimination half-life "approximately 13 hours" after subcutaneous administration, maximum concentrations "achieved at 11 hours post dosing", absolute bioavailability "approximately 55%". Label escalation is 0.6 mg ONCE DAILY for the first week, then stepped up at weekly intervals to 3 mg daily — the interval between increases is weekly, the dose itself is daily. FORMULATION NOTE: this label describes a 6 mg/mL solution in a prefilled pen, which is NOT reconstituted. The half-life is a property of the molecule and applies either way, but the vial sizes shown here reflect the lyophilised compounded/research presentation this calculator is for.
